I’m not sure what’s up with the game. The devlog was removed some time ago and it’s not clear from the ModDB entry if the project’s still active or not. I certainly hope so though, that trailer looks like an incredible combo of art, style, music, platformer gameplay, and sci-fi world building.
A few weeks ago an archeological dig in Turkey announced a new discovery of some of the oldest gaming pieces known. I hate to judge a game just by the fancy pieces, but 5000 years later it still looks pretty good!
I especially like the elephants.

Obviously the gameplay or implementation could itself fall short, but I love the aesthetic mix of 40k, Aliens, and Space Battleship Yamato.
