Finally got around to posting photos from last weekend’s Combat Patrol Tournament kickoff at Redcap’s Corner. Twelve players showed up, out of sixteen in the tournament, not bad showing. Redcap’s recently completed switch to takeover the adjacent video store’s space seems to have turned out very well—the bottom space is very large and bright, with tons of room and tables for gaming, plus a good bit of potential shelf space. Somewhat more unconventionally, they’ve built a little loft above it for roleplaying and miniatures gaming. It needs some finishing and more lighting, but should be really cool when done—a quieter place to play, away from the card gamers. It also has really nice custom gaming tables that the store did a great job knocking out.
